The Glory of the Almighty Tabernacle was founded in April of 2003 under the leadership and direction of Pastor Charlesetta and Deacon Ambrose Ellis! God gave Pastor Ellis the vision to start the ministry after her quest to find her son who was homeless at the time. After searching for her son, Pastor Ellis was lead to a homeless community in downtown Phoenix when God commissioned her to start her ministry in that neighborhood. She followed the direction of the Lord and started her ministry in Downtown Phoenix on Madison Avenue. The ministry grew and many souls were brought to Jesus Christ over a fourteen year period that she was at the Madison location. The ministry touched many people lives through outreach services in which her and her members would provide food, clothing, shelter occasionally, and most important the word of God to the homeless community. Many people gave their lives to Jesus Christ and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Pastor Ellis ministry did not continue at that location but she is now located at a new location on 31st avenue & Indian School Rd. Pastor Ellis continues to reach after souls at her new location and have great plans to help many in her current location through  outreach ministry and the word of God!
